Win: Lunch for four at two AA Rosette restaurant Amelie – worth £100
Yet to eat at Amelie, the two AA Rosette restaurant at Ely’s Ben’s Yard? Now’s your chance. . .
Amelie, the French restaurant known for its fine contemporary food, has been awarded two AA Rosettes less than a year after opening at Ely’s Ben’s Yard. Reflecting not only outstanding food quality, but also an outstanding dining experience, a two-Rosette rating is, says co-owner Alex Crepy, “an amazing achievement”.
Founded by Alex and his father Regis, former chef-proprietor of both Maison Bleue in Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham’s The Great House, Amelie’s strongly seasonal menu has been developed in partnership with resident head chef Rory Landells. Current dishes include wild Scottish mackerel fillet with horseradish butter, chicory, avocado and Colston Bassett stilton salad and a mushroom and garlic butter flammekueche - a signature for Amelie, the ultra-thin crispy flatbread is adapted from the classical dish of the Alsace.
If you fancy sampling the spring menu, good news: to celebrate winning two AA Rosettes, Amelie is giving Velvet readers the chance to win lunch for four - up to a value of £100 - this month! To enter, click HERE and complete the simple online form. Entries must be made by midnight on April 30 2025 and the usual Ts and Cs apply.
