The Cambridge fish restaurant is giving Velvet readers the chance to win two tickets to a delicious wine-and-dining night

Billed as an opportunity to “enjoy an immersive dining experience, chatting with the chefs about where the fish on your plate was caught that very day”, the monthly wine-and-dining nights at Cambridge’s Fin Boys are sell-out events.

With two of the city’s best-known chefs at the helm - Jay Scrimshaw (Gordon Ramsay’s F Word finalist and owner of bao business Guerrilla Kitchen) and Richard Stokes (who ran The Three Horseshoes in Madingley for 25 years and head cheffed at Parker’s Tavern for two) - Fin Boys is known not only for its innovative seafood menus, but also for its on-site fish butchery: all caught using the most sustainable methods possible and sourced from local, independent suppliers, Fin Boys’ fish is best in class.

Usually held in collaboration with a wine supplier or vineyard ambassador, the dining nights fall on the first Wednesday of the month, with tickets priced from £65 each - and this month Velvet readers could win a pair, worth £130!
