Just when we thought Suffolk’s Retreat East couldn’t get more romantic - having been crowned Romantic Hotel of the Year 2023 by The Times & The Sunday Times - it cut the ribbon on five stunning shepherd’s huts, each designed especially for two (and one dog).

The latest addition to the sustainable accommodation, spa, gym and dining complex, developed from former dairy farm buildings in leafy Sandy Lane, each hut comes with a plush king-sized bed and luxurious ensuite, plus its own cosy loveseat, wood-burning stove and private decking.

To celebrate the opening of the shepherd’s huts, which are set in meadowland beside the existing field barns and are dog-friendly, we’ve got a two-night stay to give away - worth £398!
