Win: A £45 fruit tree for your garden **CLOSED**
Planting trees is one of the most powerful ways to help our planet – and you could win a fruit tree for your own garden, worth £45!
Brampton charity Creating Nature’s Corridors is marking a milestone: over the last five-month planting season alone, it has installed more than 20,000 trees and hedging plants across the countryside - the vast majority of them right here in Cambridgeshire, officially England’s least-treed county.
With the help of squads of volunteers, founder Vhari Russell - who started the charity in memory of her brother, Rory, a green oak carpenter who died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome five years ago - has created new copses and hedgerows at both Huntingdon Racecourse and PAUS, the “outdoor bathing and breathing space” in Bourn.
To mark Velvet’s own milestone, our 200th issue, Creating Nature’s Corridors is giving you the chance to win your own native fruit tree to plant at home - worth £45! For your chance to win, click HERE and complete the simple online form using the keyword ‘CORRIDORS’. Entries must be submitted by midnight on April 30 2024 and the usual Ts and Cs apply. One entry per person and one winner to be chosen at random.
