This is a tasty combination: Rutherford’s, the famous Cambridge punting company, is collaborating with award-winning Papworth cheesemonger Rennet & Rind to host cheese and wine tasting tours of the River Cam. Raising a toast to the partnership, we’ve got a private cheese and wine punting tour for two to give away this month - worth £260!

The prize package will see guests punted along the city’s iconic University Backs while sampling a carefully curated board of five English or British cheeses with companion crackers, chutneys and grapes, plus perfectly paired drinks (please note that when booking the tour, wine is usually an added extra).

Bookable any day except Saturday, the 45-minute prize experience departs from Jesus Green Moorings, a two-minute walk from Quayside, and, while it’s advisable to dress for the weather forecast, umbrellas will be provided onboard. Punted by a Visit England-accredited guide, the tour offers the chance to learn about Cambridge’s illustrious history too.
