To celebrate the start of the school summer holiday, we're giving away a family ticket for a fairytale trip on Audley End Miniature Railway

School’s out, so it’s time to embark on some serious summer adventure – and where better than Audley End Miniature Railway?

Throughout August, you can join fairies, elves and other mythical creatures for a magical journey into the enchanted woods, on board a bright red steam train.

Chug through the mysterious forest, spotting clues along the way, and look out for the ancient mine, where fire- breathing dragons are said to guard a crystal treasure trove.

Later discover the tiny woodland homes of fairies and elves, before letting off steam at the play area and hunting bugs and creepy crawlies in the Nature Corner.

Enjoy interactive adventure story-telling on the Woodland Stage or feast on delicious Dragon and Unicorn Ice Cream at the Woodland Café.
