Tickets: Have a dream Cambridge day with new Punt & Dine event
A chance to enjoy a quintessential Cambridge day and support the city’s homeless at the same time? We’re in. . .
An invitation to enjoy a dream day in Cambridge - featuring a guided punt tour of the beautiful University Backs, followed by a chef-catered Summer Feast at historic Jesus College - buy a ticket for July’s Punt & Dine event and you’re supporting the city’s homeless.
Aiming to raise a whopping £30,000 for charities Wintercomfort and Only a Pavement Away through ticket sales, a raffle and an auction of donated ‘money can’t buy’ experiences, the fundraiser takes place on July 10, from noon, at Jesus College.
The feast will be designed and delivered by the team at Fin Boys, the Mill Road restaurant recently praised for its “inventive cookery and seriously good ingredients” by the Guardian’s Jay Rayner, and Sonita Alleyne OBE, the first woman to be Master of Jesus, will give a talk on both her role and the journey that led her to it.
With just eight tickets left, priced £125 each, email rory@beerec.com to get yours. . .
