Festive shopping: Meet the amazing traders exhibiting at Presents Galore
As feel-good festive shopping extravaganza Presents Galore returns to Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse this month, we meet five brilliant exhibitors
Kate Daniels Design
How it began: I’ve always had a passion for drawing and a love of animals. I started combining the two years ago and I’m happy to say, what was once a hobby, turned into a business that I’ve been running from my home studio in Norfolk since 2017.
Our products: I design a range of prints, paper goods and homewares, inspired by the wild and joyful world of animals. My small framed prints are a big seller at the moment.
On our stall at Presents Galore: I have some new Christmas cards which are some of my favourite designs so far! I will also be selling organic cotton tea towels, small framed prints, greetings cards, coasters, notelets and prints, so lots to choose from!

Banhoek Chilli Oil
How it began: Founder Ken Kinsey Quick explains: One Sunday lunch I complained to my foodie brother-in-law that I cannot find a consistent and flavourful chilli oil. After experimenting over family Sunday lunches, we came up with 60 different combinations of chilli types and edible oils until we found one that we all liked. In the beginning it was just for our own use but then friends and family asked us to make for them. I then realised this would be my entrepreneurial journey.
Our products: We have a variety of flavour-infused chilli oils to elevate every dish including, chipotle, Asian, lemon & herb and our award-winning garlic flavour. Our premium-quality chilli-infused canola oil is 100 per cent natural and enhances the natural flavours of your food without overpowering it. It is also Halaal and Kosher certified, FSSC 22000 certified, and vegan friendly.
On our stall at Presents Galore: We will be showcasing our entire range of flavour-infused chilli oils at Presents Galore, along with our original wrapped and unwrapped options. Gift boxes will also be available for purchase.

HIS UK
How it began: Having spent years moaning about the fact that I could never find presents for the men in my life, I decided to do something about it! I set up HIS (UK) at the end of 2022 and, after exhibiting at a few local fairs in South London, realised there was a definite gap in the market with customers very enthusiastic about what we were selling.
Our products: Our aim is to cater for men of all ages – 18 to 98! Whilst we do stock some firm favourites – scarves, wash bags etc – we hope that most of our gifts will be things you haven’t seen everywhere, and are a little different. Our bestseller is a Land rover Construction Kit at £24.99! Prices range from £10 to £179, with lots in the middle.
On our stall at Presents Galore: Our new items this year include a fabulous rolled aluminium wine cooler and some gorgeous leather products - Perudo sets, roll-up backgammon, watch boxes, pop-up wallets and leather-cased stirrup cups. At the other end of the scale, we have some brilliant stocking fillers and fun ‘STUFF’ pouches – DOG STUFF, CAR STUFF, BEARD STUFF and lots more.

Pom Pom Etoile
How it began: I started the business seven years ago and the brand evolved from my love of chic ladies’ accessories and clothing. I was always complimented for certain pieces of jewellery and outfits I wore so I thought ‘I know! I’ll let you all enjoy them too!’
I’m a mum of three (including the cat) and I run by business from home whilst working part-time on a maternity ward looking after newborns and mothers; I love my jobs!
Our products: I specialise in fun and fashionable ladies’ fashion, focusing on comfortable clothing that is flattering and looks chic. I have beautiful soft Italian knits, fun chunky knits (in stripes, stars and neon this year), animal print satin slip skirts, comfy joggers and denims. Our Italian leather crossbody bags, which come in lots of colours with additional bag straps, are bestsellers. We also have leather bum bags, leather phone bags, soft star socks, pom pom hats and chunky soft scarves plus a beautiful affordable jewellery range including Fairtrade Indian gold necklaces with precious stones.
On our stall at Presents Galore: All of the above plus hats, gloves, scarves, funky faux fur gilets and jackets, affordable chic Italian clothing, as well as evening jewellery to add sparkle to Christmas nights out!

Serendipity Presents
How it began: I started Serendipity 20 years ago and have had a hotline to Father Christmas ever since! We have worked together to fill hundreds of stockings and have had such fun doing so.
Our products: I try to find things from all over the world, that are a little bit different, lovely quality and encourage children to actually play, be creative and engaged, both inside and outside. Christmas is a magical time and we love doing what we do!
My price range is £3 - £30 so there really is something for everyone whether you are buying for children, grandchildren, godchildren or nieces and nephews. . . or simply filling the ‘present drawer’.
On our stall at Presents Galore: Presents Galore is always one of our favourite Christmas fairs and because it is one of the last of the season everyone is feeling very Christmassy! It is such a fun weekend with so many lovely stalls (and stallholders). I will have a huge range of goodies. Dinosaurs and unicorns are still super popular, along with games and puzzles, gadgets and glitter, pens and pencils, arts and crafts and bath time fun, plus a few treats for the grown-ups!
