The Easter holidays are sorted - thanks to a packed programme of events taking place at our area’s National Trust properties

- Woodland Play Area
Get ready for some welly-wanging fun on the Easter adventure trail at Anglesey Abbey! Normal admission applies, plus £3 per trail, which includes a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Children and families are also invited to get creative with some free Easter-themed craft activities and face painting at the Abbey, set in the Cambridgeshire village of Lode, during the school holidays. Take a stroll through the swathes of daffodils in the gardens and enjoy some outdoor bubble performances on April 2 and 11.
Houghton Mill

Including a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, tickets are £3 per trail, with no extra admission costs. You can also enjoy a tour of Houghton Mill, which is near Huntingdon, or a stroll alongside the river and through the beautiful meadows.
Peckover House and Garden

Little visitors to Peckover House are invited to follow an active Easter trail around the gardens this spring. Explorers can enjoy 10 woodland-themed activities, including wild yoga, an egg and spoon race, cloud spotting, egg painting and nature noughts and crosses. At the end of the trail, their hard work will be rewarded with a chocolate egg! With the gardens at the Wisbech property free to enter, trail packs are priced £3 each. The trail runs 10.30am to 4pm daily (last entry 3pm) with a chocolate prize for everyone at the end (dairy-free option available).
Wicken Fen

- Art and craft activities
- Boat trips and bike hire on the wider reserve
The Easter trail at Wicken will take place along the Boardwalk through the historic undrained Fen, lush with wetland plants and rich in wildlife. Normal admission applies, plus £3 per trail, to include a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg, both made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. There will also be some art and craft workshops for both children and adults: create a stunning picture of a Highland cow or learn some watercolour skills to paint the beautiful Fen landscape.
