Coronavirus: All the events cancelled or postponed across Cambs and Suffolk so far




The spread of coronavirus has led to the cancellation or postponement of a number events in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

Cambridge Science Festival has cancelled all of its activities.

And the Cows about Cambridge art trail, due to launch on March 30, has been delayed as a precautionary measure.

Thriplow Daffodil Festival has been cancelled due to the risk of spreading the virus.

Local elections have also been postponed for a year. This affects Cambridge City Council and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Police and Crime Commissioner on May 7.

Rotary Club of Bury St Edmunds Swimarathon postponed.

The Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds closed - it will post updates on future Guildhall events on its Twitter account @GuildhallBSE.

March 20

Unitarian Meeting House Bury St Edmunds birthday party cancelled and to be rescheduled for the summer, possibly in June.

May 7

Local elections have also been postponed for a year.

June 8 to 13

The Women's Tour cycle race, which was due to end in Suffolk for the first time since 2014, has been postponed.
