Quintessential Pop-up
Quintessential, the Cambridge-born brand which supplies “thoughtful, ethical and beautiful” accessories to hundreds of independent retailers nationwide, has opened its own pop-up shop in the heart of the city.
Located at 62 Sidney Street, in the former East unit next door to Boots, the pop-up will be open daily between now and December 31, selling bags, scarves, gloves and socks for both women and men.
Designed in the brand’s Trumpington studio, by co-founders Paul Astbury and Carlos Quinteiro, every piece in this season’s collection is made from organic, natural or recycled materials, including silk, bamboo and polyester made from plastic bottles.
Taking inspiration from travel and the natural world for their prints and palettes, Paul and Carlos have recently added a homeware line, which includes luxurious throws, to their twice-yearly collections.
