Dig out those dancing shoes and prepare to party as Newmarket Nights returns, promising an electrifying mix of early evening racing and live music from global superstars.
The ultimate crowd-pleaser, this year’s Jockey Club Live line-up is gloriously eclectic, including pop sensation Anne-Marie, dance pioneers Rudimental and indie heroes The Wombats.
Double platinum vocal powerhouse Paloma Faith, famed for her fabulous eye-catching garb and incredible voice - showcased in tracks such as Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Lullaby - opens the season at Newmarket’s July racecourse on June 17.
Following in the footsteps of previous dance night favourites Chase & Status and Mark Ronson, BRIT-Award winners Rudimental bring anthemic beats to the stage on June 24.
Irish rock pop outfit The Script headline on July 15, with arena-filling favourites including The Man Who Can’t Be Moved and Superheroes.
Immerse yourself in Queen’s epic back catalogue of treasured hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, A Kind of Magic and Radio Ga Ga courtesy of Queen Symphonic on July 22. Bringing together international stars from the smash hit musical We Will Rock You, an awesome rock band and a symphony orchestra, the show will be nothing short of spectacular.
Pop phenomenon Anne-Marie makes her Newmarket debut on July 29. The nine-time BRIT award nominee, who has scored five top 10 singles and supported Ed Sheeran on the biggest tour of all time, has collaborated with the likes of Little Mix, Niall Horan and Clean Bandit.
Indie three-piece The Wombats provide a change of pace as they make their debut at the racecourse on August 5. The Liverpool lads, who scored a number 1 with their fifth album Fix Yourself, Not The World, have a talent for producing pop-tinged indie classics, from Moving To New York to Let’s Dance To Joy Division.
The season draws to a close on August 12 with a night of nostalgia as Pete Tong transforms the July course into the sun-soaked White Isle, with a heady mix of Ibiza club classics reimagined by The Heritage Orchestra. With incredible visual effects thrown in, it’ll be quite the euphoric spectacle.
