Tickets to the June 12 event at Grand Arcade - held in aid of Cambridge Pride - are on sale now
Promising a night filled with fun, fashion and fundraising, the Rainbow Runway comes to Cambridge’s Grand Arcade on June 12.
Held in aid of the Pink Festival charity, in support of Cambridge Pride, the line-up includes drag bingo, a DJ, a fashion show and fizz - all hosted by iconic Cambridge queen Felicity Flappes.
Modelled by members of the local LGBTQ+ community, the catwalk will showcase looks from a selection of Grand Arcade brands, including John Lewis & Partners, Hobbs, Levi’s, Mango, RetroGusto and Vans. The John Lewis Beauty Studio team will create the models’ makeup looks and Kiko, Kuoni and Rituals will also be supporting.
Dutch DJ Alejandro Martinez will play throughout the event, which takes place on the arcade’s first floor, 6.30pm to 9pm.
“Grand Arcade is delighted to host Rainbow Runway, an event that embodies our commitment to inclusivity and community,” says marketing manager Julie Kervadec. “This event will not only showcase fabulous fashion and entertainment but also contributes to a meaningful cause, helping to fund Cambridge Pride and ensure a joyous, free celebration for all.”
Adds Gordon Bateman, chair of Cambridge Pride: “This generous support is vital for making Cambridge Pride a reality, allowing us to create an inclusive, free celebration for the entire community. Rainbow Runway will help us to welcome around 15,000 people to this year’s Pride, ensuring a memorable event for all.”
Tickets cost £10 per person, to include a complimentary glass of prosecco or soft drink, with all proceeds going towards The Pink Festival charity. Book yours HERE
