Event: Bildeston’s Boule-in brocante ushers in the spring
Take a day trip to Provence without leaving Suffolk soil at Bildeston’s spring Boule-in brocante
Promising to “immerse visitors in an authentic French aesthetic through theatrically curated spaces, providing style inspiration and fabulously chic pieces to enhance homes and gardens this spring,” the Boule-in brocante returns to the Suffolk village of Bildeston next month.
Running March 23 to April 1 (excluding Easter Saturday), the spring version of the seasonal shopping event - dubbed the Fête Du Printemps - will feature everything from bonafide antiques and mid-century decor to plants, pots and gardenalia, all available to buy.
Plus there’ll be inspiration in the form of Easter tablescapes, refreshments from the garden cafe, and accordion music played live.
Hosting the event at their High Street house and walled garden, husband-and-wife team Peter and Cathy Bullen source all their wares direct from Provence, where they have a second home.
Says Cathy: “We ensure there’s something for everyone. We want our customers and friends to feel transported to the magic of Provence...”
Admission is free but donations - divided between Combat Stress, Macmillan Cancer Support, Bildeston Church Restoration Fund and a guest charity for each event - are welcomed. See boule-in.co.uk
