Enjoy a virtual weekly Wellness Wander at the University Botanic Garden
We are all missing the beauty on our doorstep that is the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. While we are in isolation and unable to get out and about, the lovely but only-essential people still taking care of the Garden and its precious plant collection, are bringing the sights, smells and sounds of this sanctuary-in-the-city to our homes.
Capture the changes as the Garden unfolds from signs-of-spring to full-blooms-of-summer in a 10-15-minute weekly walkabout. All of the Wellness Wanders – #wellness Wednesdays – will be available to watch on the Garden’s website, YouTube channel and shared on its social media channels (twitter, insta, facebook @CUBotanicGarden) allowing you to enjoy them whenever you feel the need to immerse yourself in nature.
Bravo for the brilliant idea – the walk is truly wondrous, and it means not missing any of the seasonal showstoppers the Garden is so loved for (look forward to the popular and gorgeous jade vine as well as nature’s bounty come Easter). Make a cup of tea and sit back and be transported into the uplifting surrounds of one of our most beautiful and celebrated gardens. There is much more on offer on the Garden’s website to provide distraction, learning and calm. Check it out.
