Event: Cambridge Cambourne 10K

What: Ideal for all levels (with its sister event, the Cambridge Cambourne Fun Run, offering a shorter distance). Route passes through wooded areas and alongside lakes, almost entirely off road and traffic-free.

Event: St Eds’ Triathlon Festival

What: A variety of events including triathlon, aquathlon, and duathlon to raise funds for local charities. Organised by HaverSports, it includes a pool swim, fast cycle through village roads and flat run course - great for novices.

Event: Northstowe Half Marathon

What: A multi-terrain course through the developing town of Northstowe, with ever changing scenery, from landscaped open spaces to innovative architecture. Heads out through Longstanton and into the countryside. Also a 5K option.

Event: Hoohaah Childerley 10K

What: Sponsored by Barr Ellison, this 10K boasts a single lap, traffic free route through the privately owned Childerley Estate, taking in footpaths, woodland and meadows, as well as some moderate hills. Hoohaah also has a 10k at Ickworth on May 22.
