Win: Sweet and salty treats from pretzel.knotz

The brainchild of Mildenhall's Joanna Vine, new brand pretzel.knotz delivers sweet-meets-salty treats to the door - and we've got a box to give away

It was her own penchant for the sweet-meets-salty treats which inspired Joanna Vine to start pretzel.knotz. Working out of her Mildenhall kitchen, she produces a vast menu of dipped sourdough pretzels, topped with everything from plain melted chocolate to Oreo and biscoff crumbs, salted caramel popcorn, crushed mini eggs… Filled pretzels, sandwiched with various flavours, have also just launched.

“I love the crisp crunch of a pretzel but also really like chocolate. Who doesn’t, right? Always trying to be a little mindful of calories, I also think chocolate pretzels give you a sweet treat with a little less guilt,” explains Joanna.

“I started looking for new flavours to buy and try but couldn’t find any. The next option was buying plain pretzels and melting my own chocolate to dip them - yummy. Being unable to work right now as a hairstylist I had plenty of time to experiment, which I did.”

Encouraged by her husband (“he’s king sampler”), Joanna decided to start selling her wares via postal or local delivery and sales soon started to fly: “People said they had never seen or heard of anything like it. It still confuses me how it’s not a thing: who doesn’t like sweet and salty? So I guess pretzel.knotz is a little bit unique.”

Available in single, selected mix or surprise flavours, pretzel.knotz boxes come in various sizes and price-points. Visit @pretzel.knotz on Instagram for more and to order.
