Known for both its ethical and innovative approach, brilliant British tea company Bird & Blend is coming to Cambridge! Opening its 22nd store on the city’s Green Street - the official ribbon-cutting is on October 30 - shoppers can expect more than 100 teas to choose from, ranging from classic Builders Breakfast Brew to cute Birthday Cake. Plus there’s Cambridge Classics, a store-exclusive blend of three black teas “evocative of the comforting scent of new books; a must for every lover of literature”.

A certified B-Corp, Bird & Blend supports a charity local to each of its retail sites. For its first quarter in Cambridge, it will be raising both awareness and funds - with 50% of profits from Cambridge Classics sales donated - for The Kite Trust, which works with LGBTQ+ young people across our region to boost wellbeing and encourage creativity.

Bird & Blend won’t just be selling teas, either: there’s an instore mixology service available, along with free matcha tea-making demos, and masterclasses and events are in the planning. Say bosses: “The Cambridge team are passionate about spreading happiness one cup of tea at a time. . .”
