Food: Send some lockdown love
If you want to spread some cheer - or, indeed, are in need of a little cheer yourself - a postal order Bumble Box is just the job. Billed as ‘not just another chocolate box’, it’s the lockdown brainchild of Cambridge chocolatier Riadh Falvo of Bumble & Oak.
Along with a selection of her confections (a seasonal bar, a bag of truffles and a hot chocolate mix), it contains spirit-lifting treats from other brilliant (and largely local) indies: coffee courtesy of The Brew Project, tea from Tea & The Gang and a notepad and pencil handmade by Stella Pereira, the food stylist, photographer and all-round Cambridge creative.
Plus Riadh encloses a non-advent calendar in the form of a month’s supply of envelopes, each containing a cheery thought or deed. Even the box your parcel arrives in is beautiful, decorated with a sheet of Cambridge Imprint paper.
