Food: Learn and dine at Cambridge's Ferment & Feast pop-up
Proof food can be delicious *and* good for both your gut and the planet, Ferment & Feast comes to Cambridge this month
Combining a fermented foods workshop with a three-course zero-waste lunch - cooked by a Michelin-trained chef, no less - Ferment & Feast comes to Cambridge’s Storey’s Field Centre on February 22.
A chance to learn how to cook and eat for the benefit of both people and the planet, it’s a collaboration between Catalina Brumann of FermenTABLE and Rowen Halstead, the food sustainability advocate best known to Velvet readers as columnist Waste Not Rowen.
Running from 10am-2pm, the event comprises a two-hour fermentation workshop with Catalina, focusing on gut health, followed by lunch, cooked by Rowen. Tickets, priced £85, are expected to sell swiftly - head to the website to book.
