Food: La Latina Bustaurante parks at The Grafton
Long time street food brand La Latina Bustaurante has moved into bricks and mortar - at The Grafton's indie hub, Food Social
Loved for its South American signatures - empanadas, tostones, arepas - La Latina Bustaurante has served from its converted bus for three years. But, its bus parked up amid the pandemic, it’s now moved into permanent premises, joining Food Social in Camrbidge’s Grafton shopping centre.
As well as offering all the fan-favourite dishes, a larger kitchen means a larger menu, say the team, with the Latino breakfast “already a success” and Arroz de Carnitas (pulled pork rice) “sure to gain lots of hearts too”.
“We are in between two other independents, Amelie and Chi, which make us very happy: that’s one of the main reasons we decided to move to The Grafton, as we saw the efforts from the shopping centre to support and encourage small independent businesses in Cambridge.”
Currently operating via takeaway only, with direct delivery available through both Foodstuff and Deliveroo, adds the team: “We cannot wait for the pandemic to be over, to be able to welcome back to our customers and to offer them our authentic Latino experience.”
