Food: Cambridge Waffle Company is making a comeback
If you’re a Cambridge native (and have a sweet tooth), you’ll *definitely* remember Cambridge Waffle Company: formerly housed in what’s now the BetFred building on Fisher Square, it served the most amazing waffles up until 2009, when parent company La Raza closed The Soul Tree, the nightclub upstairs, and moved on to ventures new.
Well, we’re pleased to announce that Cambridge Waffle Company is making a comeback – serving from the kitchen of Ta Bouche, La Raza’s Market Passage cocktail bar, cafe and restaurant.
Expect all the old favourites from the original menu (all-day breakfast, Bolognese, Thai chicken curry), along with new flavours (smoked salmon and avocado, Spanish antipasti) and both gluten-free and vegan options (soya chick’n curry, lentil Bolognese). Salads and shakes are also available.
Along with the new food offering, Ta Bouche has a Havana Club-inspired new look, including brightly coloured paintwork and furnishings, plus a new beach bar-style frontage.
Ta Bouche is at Market Passage, Cambridge CB2 3PF. Visit tabouche.co.uk to find out more.
