Event: Cambridge Chocolate Festival booking now

Promising everything from bean-to-bar demos to themed brunch and cocktails, Cambridge Chocolate Festival makes its delicious debut next month

Big news: Cambridge Chocolate Festival, the city’s first festival dedicated to the sweet stuff, takes place next month!

Hosted by Histon Smokehouse, sponsored by Click It Local and curated by Bumble & Oak boutique batch chocolatier (and Velvet writer) Riadh Falvo, it will run right through Valentine’s weekend.

The festival opens with Date Night on Friday, February 11, featuring a themed cocktail menu from local mixologist Pawel, starring single-origin chocolate from the South American cacao belt.

Brunch, Touring & Shopping follows on both Saturday and Sunday, February 12 and 13: you can brunch on a Smokehouse savoury chocolate or molé breakfast plate; take a tour of the ‘chocolate factory’, where Riadh and Anisa Ather, of Ely’s Anisa & Chocolate, will demonstrate the bean-to-bar process; and shop in the garden market, where you’ll be able to meet and buy from some of the best local chocolate makers and bakers, including Bitesize Bakehouse and Barbarella Cafe.

All of which sounds delicious. See you there.
