What’s on the menu? An English Summertime Marshmallow Box

Tell us more: A box of the fluffiest marshmallows you have likely ever tried. Half are swirled with juicy strawberry puree and topped with a freeze-dried strawberry slice for a bit of balance. These are paired with decadent Saffron Grange’s Cuvée marshmallows which are finished with a little gold leaf for maximum wow.

When is it available? From 1 May

How much? £10.50 for a box of eight, £20 for a box of 16. Contact direct for larger bespoke, wholesale or corporate orders

What was the inspiration? I have made winter seasonal mixed boxes for the last few years but this is the first summer box. For my opening gambit and first foray into summer seasonal marshmallow boxes I really wanted to celebrate quintessential English summer flavours that come to mind when I think of sweet treats. For me, that is strawberry and some variation of a bubbly beverage. A home grown gorgeous English sparkling wine that is created just around the corner in Saffron Walden, Saffron Grange, seemed like the obvious choice. Not only is their Cuvée delicious, working with another local business aligns perfectly with my business values. It was a match made in heaven from my first batch and I haven’t looked back.

Coronation chicken was first served at the Queen’s coronation banquet in 1953. The selection of cakes includes a red, white and blue macaron, a strawberry tartlet and a mini Queen Elizabeth cake. Queen Elizabeth cake is a deliciously moist cake made with dates and spices, topped with an orange and coconut frosting. It was first made for the Queen’s coronation in June 1953 and remains extremely popular in Canada. We’re delighted to have brought it back to the UK. And of course no afternoon tea is complete without a scone with raspberry jam and clotted cream – add a glass of champagne for a proper royal celebration. We will also be selling our red white and blue macarons individually and in boxes of six and the Queen Elizabeth cakes and red velvet Jubilee cupcakes will be available in the cake shop

When is it available? Monday 30 May to Sunday 5 June

How much? Without Champagne, £23.95, with Champagne, £31.95
