Drink: Bottled cocktails for the Bank Holiday
Raise your glasses: Roundwood Gin is bringing back its bottled cocktails in time for the August Bank Holiday.
Soft launched back in May, they proved a sellout hit. “We’ve had so many requests to bring back the cocktails and thought the Bank Holiday would be the ideal time,” says Emily Robertson, founder of the Abbots Ripton distillery. “With many not feeling comfortable about visiting the pubs quite yet, we think our pre-made cocktails are the perfect solution to bringing the party home!”
All blended with Roundwood’s London Dry, a “fairly fruity” number distilled with elderberries and six other woodland-inspired botanicals, there’s the Elderflower Collins (elderflower liqueur, lemon, mint), Marmalade Negroni (Campari, vermouth, bitter orange marmalade) and Bramble (blackberry liqueur, lemon). Priced £35 for a box of six bottles, they’re delivered to the door.
Pre-orders are now being taken at shop.roundwooddistillery.co.uk
