The duo behind Cambridge-based jewellery brand Eleven Fifteen, Sarah Clough and Emma Humphrey, have designed a limited edition Protect Necklace in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is such a lovely idea – the premise is to buy one and gift one, so people buy a necklace for themselves and nominate a key worker they know to receive the other, which is sent free of charge.

“We had hoped to have our new collection in by now but with factory closures due to lockdown, our plans were put on pause. Instead, we were forced to innovate and in light of the crisis surrounding us, and particularly Sarah whose husband is a doctor and who is a teacher herself, we designed a limited edition Protect Necklace. It’s been really well received and something we are very proud of, bringing a little glimmer of joy amidst some dark times,” says Emma.

The elegant piece features a rose quartz disc – a crystal associated with peace and calm in times of chaos – on a 24-inch gold vermeil or sterling silver beaded chain and costs £65. See the Protect Necklace and full details at elevenfifteenjewellery.com.
