Fashion: Shop preloved for summer with Cambridge pop-up shop Trash Chic
Want to perk up your summer wardrobe while being kind to the planet? Make a date for Trash Chic’s summer preloved pop-up
With Oxfam reporting that two thirds of the population now regularly shop preloved - with one in 10 saying the majority of their wardrobe was bought secondhand - Trash Chic is bringing its brilliant pop-up shop back for summer. Run by Haslingfield’s Jane Horwood, the brand is known for sourcing and selling treasures from across the decades, ranging from bonafide vintage to modern reloved and upcycled garments and accessories.
The first date for your diaries is May 30, when Jane brings the summer edition of her regular Grand Arcade pop-up, Re-fashion, back to the first floor of the Cambridge retail centre. Running across three days, until June 1, in the Let’s Go Circular unit, it’s a chance to fill your summer holiday suitcase and/of festival backpack with one-of-a-kind dresses, separates and coverups. The rails will also feature Jane’s customised punk, skull and hippie patched jackets.
