Beauty: Falling for Cambridge's new fragrance brand
Beguiling from very first sniff, Cécile is the irresistible debut from new British fragrance brand To The Fairest. Layering fresh bergamot and mandarin over full-bodied rose absolut, amber and clove bud, it’s singular, seductive and our new favourite scent.
The brainchild of Cambridge’s Rebecca Rose, To The Fairest takes its name from the inscription on the golden apple of Greek myth, vied for by Hera, Athena and Aphrodite. “Each scent taps into an imagined landscape,” explains Rebecca, “inspired by the mysteries of time, literature and love.”
Already featured in both Vogue and Country Life, Cécile is available in eau de parfum (£85 for 50ml) and a scented candle (£45 for 190g, burning time 40 hours) with a satin body oil to launch later this summer.
