What A Week!
Even as the last team member arrived for work first thing Monday morning others were already out of the door on their way to the week’s first appointments…
… and it literally didn’t stop from there!
James spent a wonderful morning in Bury St Edmunds, meeting some of the historic town’s gorgeous independent businesses, while Georgie and Tom ventured over to Vogue Home and Gardens to speak to owner Wendy about the success of the stylish store.
Also welcoming back our work experience lovely, Suzanne Day, for her last two days the office was at its fullest once again… we’ll need new desks before long!
Tuesday saw the troublesome duo, Tom and Georgie, enjoy a gorgeous lunchtime treat at Newmarket’s Sangdao Thai Restaurant.

Tucking in to some of the most gorgeous dishes the two had shared in a long time, the rest of the team are already organising a trip back!
Just look at the chocolate cake! Who wouldn’t want to?
With so many new businesses joining our Velvet circle this month; the team have been kept on their toes as we try to visit as many as possible.
From beauty to jewellery, and even a gorgeous vintage china hire enterprise, February’s issue is simply brimming – and we still have another week to go!
Trying to wind down in time for the weekend, James and Rachel enjoyed a coffee morning at the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, while the rest of the team enjoyed a good old sing along in the office.
(The sheer stress of this week may have been taking its toll at this point!!)
But the fun didn’t stop there… oh no!
Working right through the weekend, Tom is looking forward to a last minute photo shoot at one of Newmarket’s grandest hotels, while Georgie is set to watch one of Pole Fitness’ Saturday classes before attending Sangdao’s fundraising evening on Sunday.
If you’re not busy, pop along and enjoy some of the delicious food offerings – all in the name of charity.
