We’re 50!
The first week in July has been one of complete madness in the Velvet Office.
Not one to sit still for more than a minute, the entire team have been buzzing around the office working on our 50TH ISSUE!
We can’t quite believe it either!!
With so many new ideas floating across the Velvet airwaves, August’s issue looks so amazing we can hardly contain our excitement.
Working on one of our biggest photo shoots EVER this month, the team is really pulling out all the stops so watch this space for a behind the scenes special.
The hype surrounding our pending Awards Evening began gathering speed as more and more pieces of the puzzle fell into place and acts booked.
The week began with a trip to Handbags and Gladrags in Bury St Edmunds, in which Tom and Georgie got well and truly to the roots of the nearly new agency.
Owner, Alison Armitage, showed the troublesome twosome around the store, discussing the lasts pieces to arrive in store and her love of all clothes and accessories. If you haven’t already, go and have a peak in the treasure trove of fashion – it is, literally, amazing.
Later in the week Newmarket’s High Street turned into the latest catwalk to be seen outside of London as ladies and gents strutted their stuff in the direction of the racecourse.
Always an anticipated event, Ladies Day at the July Course welcomed a glorious afternoon of sun, fun and horse racing – be sure to grab next month issue to see who we snapped at the event.
Outside of the office, the entire team was alive as we planned this weekend’s work night out! Oh, how the Velvet crew love to party.
