The Velvet Blog Is Back...
And the Velvet blog is back... with a vengeance. Not only will we be giving our lucky online readers a sneaky preview into the living and working world of the Velvet team, but we might, just might, throw in the occasional competition too. Woop woop!
Not unlike any other week in the Velvet office we have been extremely busy. Monday saw the end of our extensive delivery round, so it was all hands on deck.
Fiona and Jess zoomed over to Cambridge in their Mini convoy, while the burley men of the office, Dan and Tom covered Bury St Edmunds, leaving little old Georgie to ride solo through Newmarket. So we hope you’ve got your copy by now!
Monday also saw the welcomed arrival of our lovely work experience student, Vicky Lomax, from Leeds Trinity University, who stayed with us throughout the week. Our immense thanks go out to her and her literary talents.
We visited Alison and her team at Solo Hair and Beauty for a catch up on their latest treatments and cutting expertise before nipping over to the wonderful town of Bury for a sneak preview at the Spring/Summer range at Javelin.
Of course it’s not all about fun visits and coffee... there was some hard work involved too! Our extensive product placement photo shoot took place by the hand of our pukka photogapher Tom Stedman one sunny afternoon, before we were forced to wave goodbye to the gorgeous collection of clothes. Sometimes our job is just so difficult...
The magazine, now in its second week of production is finally taking shape, and all I can say is... you certainly have a treat in store for you next month!
