The Shortest Week Ever!
With the Royal Wedding looming this week, it’s been one non-stop action-packed three days of chaos… well we might be exaggerating a tad!
With May’s issue now a distant memory, the Velvet team have dived head first into our brand spanking new motoring magazine, Cars.
Test driving, visiting dealerships and the all important interviews have been top of our list for the entire week, as the Speedster Stedman visit Mercedes Benz for a quick ride and Georgie got in touch with local racing hero, Oliver Jarvis.
The arrival of our newest work placement diva, Daisy Rowell, saw the entire office sigh with relief! Look out for her work in June’s issue of Velvet…
Amidst the motoring madness, Tom and Georgie took some time out to attend The Apex’s latest fashion event, Fashion Fusion.
With over 500 fashion fanatics eagerly awaiting the hottest display of current trends, the audience literally squealed with delight as the boys from Six Whiting Street marked the first male appearance – it was certainly a moment to remember!
Back in the office, the editorial team began to brainstorm June’s issue… yes we know it’s still only April but Velvet never sleeps! Excited about the summer, June is already jam packed with sun, sun and a little more sun!
As Friday approached talk turned toward the approaching royal wedding… who was celebrating, who wasn’t… everyone had a different opinion. Fiona was looking forward to a traditional street party, while some of the boys were nonplussed by the event.
Either way – we’re all looking to a well-deserved break!
