The Final Countdown
With the Awards evening taking place in a weeks time, the office has literally been going crazy as every last I is dotted and T is crossed for the big event.
The official sponsors of the event, Abbeygate Wealth Management, Highfield Events Group, Recruitment Service Team and Cubiqdesign, have made the whole evening possible, as we try to raise as much money as possible for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Holding the ceremony in Woodditton, everyone is looking forward to seeing our secret venue, which has never previously been used for such an event – be sure to look out for photos in next month’s magazine!
Of course, we haven’t forgotten about our lovely magazine in the excitement of the upcoming party, we mean, evening – far from it!
With the Awards voting set to finish next week we have been collecting all voting slips from all the surrounding businesses as they battle it out to win their category.
Lee, our Sales Guru, has been hard at work locating the best bridal boutiques in the region to make sure all our bride-to-be readers are fully equipped with the latest knowledge for their big day.
Yet, it’s not ALL about weddings in our upcoming issue!
Georgie and Gemma paid a visit to Newmarket Racecourse to find out more about the upcoming Dubai Future Champions Day, set to herald the best horses in the industry.
With so much hype surrounding the event it is more than certain that the Velvet Team will be in full attendance at this amazing day meeting.

Outside of the office, the team enjoyed a well-rested weekend in anticipation of next week’s events.
