Success at Speed Networking
Venturing over to the depth of Saffron Walden one evening, Velvet Magazine underwent a new kind of outing… speed networking!
Having to find someone you hadn’t met before and being given just 60 seconds to tell them all about yourself and your business was a new kind of networking… and we certainly liked it.
Taking on the role, our Sales Executive Lee Moss dove into the mass of local business for one night only at Design Essentials Speed Networking meeting on Thursday 26th January.
Organised by the founder of Design Essentials, Wendy Howell, the event had drawn an impressive crowd from all sorts of businesses in the Saffron Walden area.
Meeting a range of interesting people, Lee couldn’t contain himself on return to the office raving about the fun he’d had at such an event.
Lasting a full two hours the contacts made have proven immeasurable already and we simply can’t wait to go along to the next one.
Providing a chance to network in an informal and fun way with other local businesses, Wendy expertly organised the event, held at Goddards Interiors in the heart of the historic town.
Meeting more than 30 people at the two-hour event, we certainly spread the Velvet love a little further!
