Relaxing Times at Velvet HQ
It’s not often the Velvet office is associated with the word ‘relaxing’ but this week there’s no other word that works.
Finishing our delivery rounds on Monday, the team returned to the office with the buzz of festive spirit on their faces.
Starting the week with a meeting with a visit from the region’s new Clarins Marketing Exec, Georgie spent an afternoon of bliss learning and sampling a long list of products set for release next year.
Judging by the bundle of goodies she returned with, the meeting was very worthwhile!!
All the girls in the office got to take home a little something too!
With so much going on all week, from store visits to launch evenings, the team were kept on their toes all week.
Visiting the lovely Sarah Decent from Modish on Tuesday, Georgie and Tom spent a morning viewing the latest range of boots to arrive in the Cambridge store, while the rest of the team continued the design magic back in the office.
Wednesday saw the troops visiting the launch of Veja sneakers at Seven Wolves in Cambridge – a whole night of fun, which only worked to remind us of the Movember action currently in place!
Some of the staff had the most amazing taches we’ve seen yet! If you have time before the end of November pop in and have a look. They’re raising money for a great cause!
With a few more trips out to see the wonderful Martha Fraser from Martha V and a night out a Hobbs in Bury St Edmunds to raise money for Breakthrough Charity, the week literally flew by.
Before we knew it Friday had arrived, meaning Georgie was allowed to venture off to the land of Revive Therapists for a relaxing massage, while the team in the office tucked into a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding prepared by our very own Sophie Barnes!
We still can’t decide who had the better offer!
