Multi-talented Team
With so much more to do than write and produce the wonderful magazine that is Velvet… the team literally never stop for even a minute.
Housed under the award-winning design agency Cubiqdesign, the entire team has formed a variety of skills to create one of the most multi-disciplined teams known in the region.
(Or at least we like to think so!!)
From photography, editorial, marketing, sales and design we have encompassed a great working relationship with local businesses - often leading to us being in the most unusual of situations… and this week was no different.
Monday saw the team venturing into the midst of Bury St Edmunds town centre working on a branding project for the town.
Photographing some of the most iconic areas, using a variety of models and props, it suddenly struck us all that we have a pretty fun job!
Pretending to have tea at Harriets Tearooms, shop for new houses inside Sheridan’s and enjoying an afternoon walk through the historic Abbey Gardens, we certainly showed Bury off to its best.
With the atmosphere literally buzzing throughout the rest of the week, the team were on fire producing some of the best designs and editorials seen.
Georgie visited to wonderful Nicola Parrish from CS55 Designs, while Rachel and Tom continued the mammoth task of photographing Bury.
Back in the office, our impressive designer Sophie transformed text doc after text doc into the magazine you are soon to see before you., while Jess, John and Euge held the fort with the endless stream of Cubiq projects.
Outside of the office, Rachel continued to celebrate her 25th birthday with the arrival of her brand spanking new tablet (we’re definitely not jealous!).
