Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
As the office dwindles down to a mere skeleton network this week, we all finally get ready for a visit from the man in red!
Constantly visited by Mr Fed Ex himself over the last month, we at least know the team have not left the shopping to Christmas Eve! (Fingers crossed!)
Starting the week with the arrival of our newest intern, Rachel Pope, the week looked set to be a good one.
Our super sales duo, James and Lee, ventured to the glorious city of Cambridge for a meeting with the Grafton Centre, while the team carried on the festive spirit back in the office.
As fewer and fewer of the team showed up for work, using any last minute holiday they had left over, it was down to a mere six by lunch time Friday!
The lovely Jess enjoyed a well-deserved week off, catching up with friends ahead of Christmas and finishing those last minute bits of shopping, while Georgie got that little bit more festive (if at all possible) with a trip to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland.
As Friday arrived the team were little brimming with festivities, John finally started singing Christmas carols after weeks of denial while our office hunk Euge trying to pin down the girls with mistletoe!
Closing down for the Christmas period, the Velvet Team really couldn’t wait to start the holidays as more mince pies arrived in the office followed by a caseload of wine!!
Ending the day with a team outing to the Thai Street Café in Newmarket... we honestly couldn’t think of a better way to start our celebrations.
