Forming the brainchild of owner Alison Armitage, Handbags and Gladrags came to fruition after a life long passion of buying designer clothes and years of hoarding her high-end gear from season to season.
After being told she had too many clothes, Alison soon found herself on the path to opening her first store just months later.
Alison is passionate about selling quality high street and designer goods at a fraction of the price!
This treasure trove is every bargain hunters dream, offering a place in which to delve deep into this Aladdin's Cave of character and style to find labels such as Hobbs, Phase Eight, Dolce & Gabana and Gucci to name just a few.
All recycled clothes are handpicked in order to ensure customers receive products that are never more than two to three years old.
Selling products at Handbags and Gladrags couldn’t be easier, as Alison handpicks products individually to ensure they meet the highest possible standard for resale.
The store accepts clothes 6 days a week and chosen items remain on sale in store for 6 weeks, unsold items are then returned after this period of time.
Stock is replenished weekly so you can always find that perfect frock you’ve been searching high and low for!
Prices are agreed upon arrival, sellers receive 40% of the final selling price. Items are typically sold with a reduction of between 25% and 30% off the original selling price, so there’s a bargain for the penny and style wise ladies out there.
