Festival Fun Times

We have had an absolute ball at Velvet this week… and seriously can’t believe it’s Friday!

Monday saw the arrival of our work experience lovely, Nicola Vinyard, who has joined the team for two weeks!

Travelling all the way from Ipswich we’ll be sure to make the most of her literary talents – look out for many an article by her in next month’s mag!

The week began with an excitable buzz circulating the office as we all prepared for our festival themed photo shoot.

Our in house photographer, Tom Stedman, stepped up to the mark this week with his imaginative frames, cropping and styling, making this photo shoot one of our best yet.

Using only the best local clothes, the team went on location to capture the best festival looks yet.

But that’s not all! The absolutely outstanding VW vintage campervans provided by The Vintage Wandering Company completely made the entire shoot.

Arriving on set, the whole team literally squealed with excitement. And the great news… they’re available for hire too!

Coastal towns be warned, you may have one excited Velvet team arrive on your doorsteps this summer, in vintage style of course!

And that’s not the only reason we’re on top of the moon this week. Thursday saw the return of our first ever motoring magazine, Cars.

The whole team is to thank for making it such a high-end magazine and it looks absolutely fabulous.

Find it in dealerships, hotels and supermarkets near you!

Back to business as usual, Georgie visited Mark Elliot’s Bury St Edmunds branch in Sicklesmere to find out more about the local artists displayed throughout their stylish showroom, while Lucinda and Fiona held the forte from the sales office.

Velvet literally never sleeps! Until next week Velvettes! xx
