Busiest Week Yet

We always talk about how busy we are at Velvet… but this week has hit a new record.

The office felt like a station, with the team coming and going all week long… thank god it’s Friday!

Monday saw the arrival of our newest work experience lovely Katy Bowman who stepped up to the Cubiqdesign desk to lend a helping hand where needed.

Putting her hand towards some of the most gorgeous illustrations we have seen, make sure you look out for her work in next month’s issue.

Rachel, Lee, Gemma and Georgie ventured out to The Best Of Bury St Edmunds coffee morning on Tuesday to get to know even more of locality and introduce many to the world of Velvet and Cubiqdesign, while Tom ventured out into the streets of Bury St Edmunds to take many of the needed photos for the latest Cubiq project.

The week continued on such a high pace, as Georgie flitted between Bury St Edmunds on a visit to the lovely owner of Potts Rock, Genevieve, and Elveden Estate where she enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner ahead of the Christmas rush.

If you haven’t already looked into booking your Christmas dinner, whether work orientated or a catch up with friends, make sure you have a look at our upcoming October issue for a full listing of the best venues found locally!

Our superstar Sales Rep, Lee, ventured out of the office to see the lovely Jenny for childrenswear boutique Monkerillas before hot footing it over to see the highly respected Mr Turnbull of Scotts Eyecare.

Outside the office, the entire team enjoyed a well-deserved trip to our favourite chain restaurant – NANDOS!

Joined by some of the old team it’s no wonder our sides were aching by the end of the meal (from the laughter not the chicken!!!)
