Stepping into Boudoir Femme you are transported to a world of luxury. The simple but beautiful array of clothing, accessories, makeup and perfume catch your eye all at once, sending you into a dreamy haze.
The 1940s inspired boutique is one of Cambridge’s finest places to get your hands on unique tantalizing brands. Each and every designer housed is hand picked by owner, Pippa, from countries all over the world including Scandinavia, France, New York, Paris and of course the UK.
The Parisian style of the store is what makes Boudoir Femme an experience, rather than just another shopping destination. Its dreamy and light coloured interior paints the perfect picture of chic sophistication..
Pippa’s inspiration for opening such a place came from a 1940s film that she watched before she setting about her new adventure.
The film featured a glamorous scene in which a lady was waited on hand and foot in a shop full of clothes and with accessories to match. As the shop assistants floated around her, the lady sat amongst it all in utter luxury. Everything she needed was all under one roof, and Pippa wanted to recreate just that.
The store stocks an impressive range of brands: including American Vintage, Lama Peach, Rutzou, Malene Birger, Ell & Cee, Anonymous by Ross and Bute, Libelula, Chie Mihara, Joe’s, Cheet and Handwritten by Tanya Sarne, as well as luxury cosmetic brands E. Coudray and Tocca.
You’ll be pleased to know that Pippa handpicks the clothes that she wants for the store herself, so you’ll always know that whatever you choose to pick up, Pippa lovingly chose it.
The team of ‘Boudoir Femmes’ are also dedicated to offering you the very best customer service and style advice, so you can pick up that perfect outfit.
The boutique won Love Cambridge’s Best Customer Service Award in 2010, as well as Pippa herself being shortlisted for Business Woman of the Year in 2007.
