Birthday Fun!
With October’s magazine now safely tucked up in bed, the entire office has all of a sudden become that little bit festive… in September!
It must have been all that talk about the perfect work Christmas parties that got us on the go, as we not only revealed the best places to hold your festive get-togethers in our latest issue, but we ourselves have started to look around for a place to hold the infamous Velvet bash!
The ultimate question is WHERE? With so many great choices available locally it’s certainly going to be a tough decision. Let us know where you’re off to this year.
Yet, it’s not all been about Christmas and our social gatherings this week (honest!!!), we have also been hard at work fine tuning our gorgeous October issue and getting ready for November.
Monday saw Georgie and Tom venture over to the gorgeous village of Long Melford to visit one of our favourite accessory stores, The Bead Boutique.
Finding out more about all the wonderful classes held in store and the boutique’s plans over the Christmas break, even our office Scrooge Tom couldn’t but help feel a little merry.
Back in the office, the ‘Big Read’ began as the team settled down to read, read and re-read the latest issue before packing is off to the printers. Introducing many new businesses to this month’s issue, we really have pushed the boundaries this month – so make sure you pick up a copy!
As we said goodbye, our attention soon turned to one special team member who happened to be celebrating her 24th birthday on the very same day, Sophie!!
Cake appeared, traditional songs were sung and we all had a merry afternoon… now all that is left to do it look forward to the weekend. AND what a weekend we have in store.
Scheduled in our diaries for the last month or so, this Saturday looks to be an exciting one at the Velvet team ventures to the depth of Innocence nightclub for the evening… watch this space for all the gossip!
