Bigger And Better Than Ever Before
This week has been an absolutely mammoth adventure, as Wednesday welcomed our biggest EVER photo shoot.
We worked hard, all day long, just to provide you, our lovely readers, with a sneaky preview of the upcoming autumn/winter trends.
Taking over Geoff and Lianna Moggridge’s gorgeous eco-home in the centre of Cambridge for the entire day the shoot could not have been a bigger success.
Our models, Hayleigh Head, Alex Ferentinos, Kris Dillon and Chelsea Tarbox who has been spotted on this season’s Britain’s Next Top Model, really pulled out all the stops to make this one of the best photo shoots we’ve completed yet.

But it’s not all about fashion at the Velvet office, we’ve been out and about sampling the best dishes and pub food available locally, just for you!
Monday saw Georgie and Tom visit the AMAZING pub, The Golden Boar in Freckenham for some of the best homemade traditional favourites.
Think fish and chips, homemade Scotch egg and the most delicious pork dishes and you’re half way there.
The afternoon saw the troublesome two venture over to Fornham All Saints in Bury St Edmunds to one of the best organic shops in town, Fornham Fine Foods.
The range of wholesome foods, drinks and eco-friendly domestic products showed just how easy it is to live a eco lifestyle full of organic produce.
Joined by Rhiannon Smith for work experience for the entire week, the office has been in a great mood. Expertly directing the photo shoot AND contributing to next month’s editorials – this girl is seriously talented!

Outside of the office, the team visited the launch of Bespoke Nannys, a new nannying and au pair service formed by the well-established, local company, Bespoke Recruitment.
Meeting owner, Rebecca Watts, for the first time, the team had an amazing evening raising money for the West Suffolk Neonatal Unit – and what a lovely woman she is too!
The weekend offered even further entertainment as some of the team joined Newmarket Racecourse for an evening of entertainment, and a live performance from James Blunt. We love him!
