Who we are

 

Velvet magazine is now the leading free lifestyle publication in the area, with 25,000 copies distributed in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Saffron Walden and Ely every month.

We are committed to promoting local businesses and providing our readers with all the latest news on where to shop, eat, drink, socialise and relax in the area. Every month, we visit hundreds of local shops, salons, bars, restaurants and hotels and know the area better than anyone else.

From fashion to food, entertainment to interiors and from music to motoring, our articles are informative, up-to-date and entertaining. We are also passionate about design and believe that our magazine is by far the most stylish publication around.

We don’t define our target audience by age...we define it by personality. Our readers aspire to a luxury way of living; they’re fashion-forward, house proud and health-conscious. Our articles cover health, fitness, beauty, fashion, food and drink, motoring, interiors and entertainment, and our magazine is read by yummy mummies, busy professionals and stylish students alike.
