A Night To Remember
The Awards Evening was an absolute success. It simply couldn’t have gone any better!
Guests donned their best dresses and fine suits, while our gorgeous singer Mickey Fordola wooed the crowd with his extraordinary rat-pack tunes.
The entire venue became a scene from a fairytale thanks to the incredible hard work put in by Highfield Events impressing absolutely everyone – even the Velvet team after spending a full day setting up!
Throughout the evening Innocence Nightclub worked the bar, whilst photographers Warwick Lowe and Paul Cook captured the ambience and atmosphere perfectly.

Now a week later we are still receiving congratulatory messages and thank you cards for the wonderful event from all those that attended and preparation for next year’s event is already underway.
Back in the world of reality the office continued as normal with the return of our office hotty, Eugene Hector, from his Ibiza 30th birthday celebrations.
It really is as though the awards were a pleasant dream!,
Monday welcomed the monthly photoshoot for September’s wedding edition, with Pride Hair and Beauty stepping in to create a vision of beauty with our model’s locks.,

Tuesday saw Georgie venture over to Hi Solutions latest renovation in Newmarket to capture the company’s handy work just in time for the September issue.
With so many new and exciting things happening ahead of our biggest issue of the year, our newest recruit Lee Moss slipped into the team like a fish to water.
Working his magic (literally) up and down the entire region, September’s issue is crammed full of many new and exciting businesses to the Velvet name, so make sure you pick up a copy.
Thursday saw the magazine off to the printers, with a collective sigh of relief working its way around the office… If anyone deserves a good weekend break, it is certainly the Velvet team!
