Velvet attends the launch of Boudoir Femme’s glamorous new store
Projecting a beacon of light onto the otherwise deserted King Street; Boudoir Femme’s sparkling new store stood proudly beckoning all passersby to enter.
Launching the store’s new location on the evening of Thursday 26th January, owner Pippa Sandison could not have asked for a greater show of support.
Entering into the maze of local fashionistas, it was clear to see that the gorgeous womenswear boutique certainly held an air of respect from everyone within the city.
Working our way around the gorgeous boutique it was great to see so many new samples of the gorgeous designers stocked by the store, including By Maylene Birger, Jewls
CPH and Joe’s Jeans, to name but a few…
Offering a glass of bubbly to each and every guest to mark the momentous occasion, Pippa and her gorgeous team welcomed all.
Not only turning out an impressive crowd, the glamour and sophistication held throughout the entire event simply set the evening as another successful notch on Boudoir Femme’s belt.
First launching the Boudoir Femme Empire in July 2006, we simply can’t praise the store enough as it launches into the second stage of its career.
Not only is the new store bigger, airy and exceptionally well suited to the stylish boutique, but we’re so glad to see one of our local boutiques doing so well.
Continuing the 1940’s inspiration throughout the new premise, we can’t wait to sample the new spring/summer
offerings expected in store this month.
With so much now under her belt, Pippa’s eye for sourcing exquisite ‘one-off’ items has seen her attract a strong following in the fashion industry, becoming a finalist at the 2011 Drapers National Fashion Awards for Womenswear Retailer of the Year.
Already crowned as The Love Cambridge Best Customer Service and Best Ambassador for Cambridge Awards in 2010, it would appear there simply is no stopping the Boudoir Femme legacy.
