After much anticipation, Abbeycroft Leisure’s 12th facility is now open on Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds. We attended the pre-opening evening on Thursday 19th January and were welcomed by the Centre Manager, Kate Crouch.
The gym itself has 45 stations with a range of the latest, up-to-date cardiovascular equipment with built-in entertainment as well as resistance equipment, functional training equipment and a variety of free weights.
Skyliner Sports Centre has 2 studios and a comprehensive fitness timetable running 7 days a week. They have the full range of the much-loved Les Mills classes which include Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Balance, Body Combat and RPM as well as the new Les Mills Virtual classes. If you’ve not already experienced these for yourself, they run at set times without an instructor and enable more flexibility and options for members. Other classes include Legs, Bums & Tums, Active Stretch & Core and Pilates so there really is something for everyone.

Alongside the gym and fitness timetable, there are also 4 badminton courts and a basketball, netball and volleyball court in the main hall as well as a 3G all weather pitch. The new centre also includes their own private changing rooms.
Membership options start from just £29.99 with a £10 start up fee and include full access to the gym and classes. Be sure to head to the centre to see it for yourself and find out more!
